IBG CHINA DELEGATION

It’s awesome and inspiring the way China pulled itself out of a third world country to the 2nd highest economy in the world, after USA in a short span of 30 years.

As business people we must take advantage of the positivity emerging from the Chinese establishment to increase trade ties with India. Especially with the Chinese USA ongoing trade war, it’s the best opportunity India has to increase business and trade.

The China Consulate and its head in Mumbai Mr Tang Guocai is extremely well disposed towards IBG. He called me one day and proposed that IBG takes a members fully paid delegation to China. What more can we ask. So this trip just got over and we returned on 24th Oct, timed for Diwali.

We visited Beijing and Shanghai in a whirlwind tour. Below are some pictures of this visit.
I believe this is the best time for Indian businesses to either start or increase their trade and dealings with this huge economy. Not only are the Chines extremely interested, their people are also very positive and friendly. IBG will continue to take this opening forward by holding a China event soon where we will invite Consul General Tang Guocai and his trade team to address our members.
